The Asia Foundation Grant is here to support innovative projects that promote positive change and development across Asia.
From expanding educational opportunities for women and girls in rural Afghanistan to supporting democratic reform in Myanmar, this grant program recognizes that meaningful and lasting change can only be achieved through collaborative and community-driven initiatives.
However, if you’re a local NGO working on the ground to support community-led projects, a policy researcher exploring new approaches to social and economic development, or a social entrepreneur looking to scale up your impact, the Asia Foundation Grant could be the catalyst you need to create real, lasting change in the region.

Details Regarding the Asia Foundation Grant
The Asia Foundation makes grants to organizations through a collaborative process of problem identification and strategy planning within our areas of programming interest.
Our programs focus on crucial challenges affecting Asia in the twenty-first century, including governance and law, economic development, women’s empowerment, the environment, and regional collaboration.
In addition, our Books for Asia and professional exchange programs are two ways we support Asia’s sustained development as a peaceful, just, and vibrant area of the world.
Please study our national program highlights and current idea Lists to determine whether your idea is compatible with the Foundation’s current programs.

And so, we conclude our exploration of the Asia Foundation Grant, but the work of promoting positive change across Asia continues. The challenges facing the region are many, from entrenched social and economic inequalities to political instability and the impacts of climate change.
But the potential for positive transformation remains immense, and the dedication and passion of changemakers across Asia give us hope for the future.
As we look forward, let us remember that sustainable and equitable development is a journey, not a destination and that the power to create a better world rests in our hands.
