Susie and Bruce Usrey Education Scholarship Overview
Applicants for the Susie and Bruce Usrey Education Scholarship must be enrolled in an eligible undergraduate or graduate landscape horticulture program or a comparable discipline at a two or four-year institution.
Students in vocational agriculture programs will also be eligible if they have a minimum overall grade point average of 2.25 on a 4.0 scale, as well as a minimum GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale for their major.
Applicants who intend to work in the industry after graduation will be given preference.

The Horticultural Research Institute (HRI), an AmericanHort foundation, has contributed more than $9.5 million to research projects addressing various agricultural, environmental, and business concerns relevant to the green industry.
Eligibility Information
This scholarship is open to students who meet the eligibility criteria listed below:

- Minimum GPA is 2.3.
