What we commission

Reported features, investigations, data-led analysis and practical explainers across our five desks. We are most interested in stories reported from the places they concern.

What we do not accept

Unsolicited opinion without reporting, guest posts written to place a link, content produced for a client, and anything generated rather than reported. Submissions of that kind are not read.

How to pitch

Send a short paragraph on the story, why it matters now, who you would talk to, and what you have published before. A pitch is stronger than a finished draft.

Rates and rights

State what AgriTalker pays, when it pays, and what rights it takes. Freelancers deserve that in writing before they start.

What to expect

Give a realistic response time, and say what happens if you do not hear back.
