Mugget Scholarship Overview
Applicants for the Mugget Scholarship must be enrolled in a recognized undergraduate or graduate program in landscape, horticulture, or a related field at a two- or four-year university.
Students enrolled in vocational agriculture programs will also be eligible. Applicants must be at least a sophomore in a four-year curriculum or a senior in a two-year curriculum as of the autumn semester of the scholarship application year. Applicants should have a minimum overall grade point average of 2.25 on a 4.0 scale, as well as a minimum GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale for their major.
Applicants who intend to work in the industry (including nursery operation, landscape architecture/design/construction/maintenance, interiorscape, horticulture distribution, or retail garden center) after graduation will be given priority. Candidates must submit two letters of recommendation.
