This scholarship, sponsored by the Iowa DNR, is available to high school seniors who have demonstrated a passion for conservation, environmental education, or habitat restoration.

Districts of Iowa Conservation Scholarship Overview
Are you a college-bound Iowa high school student who is passionate about agriculture and conservation? If yes, you may consider applying for the Conservation Districts of Iowa Conservation Scholarship!
Each year, the top nine (9) applicants pursuing programs of study in any discipline of conservation or agriculture receive scholarships ranging from $500 to $3,000 each.
While this is a broad field with numerous disciplines that qualify, preference will be given to students undertaking conservation programs. The scholarship must be applied to the student’s first year of college education.

About the Iowa Conservation Districts
Lowa Conservation Districts inform, educate, and lead Iowans through their local soil and water conservation districts to encourage natural resource conservation.
They support soil and water conservation districts through public education, recognition, commissioner development, policy, on-the-ground conservation, conservation practice promotion, events, and other initiatives.
Eligibility Information
This scholarship is open to students who meet the following eligibility requirements:
- High school senior
- Academic Interest: Agriculture, Natural Resources.
- State of Iowa
