Are you a Pennsylvania resident interested in a job in energy, health, advanced materials, and diversified manufacturing, or agriculture and food production?

If so, the Pennsylvania Targeted Industry Program (PA-TIP) could be an excellent opportunity for you! Every year, the program provides up to $6,000 to Pennsylvania citizens to help with school and living expenses.

To be eligible, candidates must be United States citizens or qualified noncitizens resident in Pennsylvania and engaged in an approved program of study lasting at least 10 weeks but no more than two academic years.

About the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency.

The Pennsylvania General Assembly founded the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) in 1963. Since then, it has grown into one of the country’s leading student aid organizations.

PHEAA is now a national provider of student financial aid services, supporting millions of students and thousands of schools through loan guarantees, loan servicing, financial aid processing, outreach, and other student aid initiatives.

Eligibility Information

This scholarship is open to students who meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Citizenship: U.S. citizens and permanent residents.
  • State: Pennsylvania.
  • Grade Level: College Students.
  • Classification: Low income.
  • Academic interests include agriculture, HVAC mechanics, education, healthcare, dental health services, nursing, and accounting.

In addition to the application materials listed below, veterans of the United States Armed Forces who were honorably discharged must provide a copy of the Dd214 form.
