The Postdoctoral Scholar Award is open to Ph.D. and terminal degree holders who want to pursue research while also aiding academics and students in the arts, education, humanities, geology, or social sciences at Taiwanese universities.
As part of the research requirement, selected scholars may expect to cooperate with Taiwanese professors and offer lectures, seminars, and workshops as scheduled by the host university. Keep reading to learn more.
Postdoctoral Scholar Award Scholarship Overview
To apply, prospective students can request a letter of invitation from their potential host university. Applicants without an invitation letter may suggest preferred affiliations, however, Fulbright Taiwan will organize and finalize all affiliations after consulting with potential hosts.

Eligibility Information of Scholarship
Non-Taiwanese Citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible to apply for this scholarship if they meet the requirements listed below.
- Miscellaneous: Applicants who have (1) an interest in creative writing and/or (2) an interest in theater are also eligible.
- Grade level: Graduate students.
