Applications Invited for Zendesk Tech for Good Impact Award 2024

The Zendesk Tech for Good Impact Award recognizes innovative non-profit organizations that are leveraging technology to create meaningful social impact in their communities.

This annual award program, sponsored by Zendesk, provides funding and resources to support the growth and development of organizations that are transforming the world through technology.

If you’re a non-profit organization with a tech-driven solution to a pressing social issue, the Zendesk Tech for Good Impact Award offers a unique opportunity to amplify your impact and join a community of like-minded changemakers.

The Overview of Zendesk Tech for Good Impact Award

We at Zendesk believe that technology has the power to transform people’s lives, particularly those of our most vulnerable communities. That’s why the Zendesk Tech for Good initiative works with over 110 nonprofits across the world to provide free Zendesk software, funding, and pro bono support, allowing more organizations to harness technology and serve more people. Tech for Good has two primary goals:

Provide NGOs with Zendesk software and grants to help them serve more people and have a greater effect on disadvantaged groups.
Collaborate with charities that offer workforce development training for careers in customer experience (CX) to historically marginalized and underrepresented populations.

We help organizations that contribute to the Zendesk Foundation’s impact in the following areas:

Foster community by facilitating relationships that provide support and allow people to thrive.
Boost resilience in times of crisis – protect against disasters and alleviate human suffering;
Create career routes in technology to address the economic opportunity gap and reduce unemployment.

The Tech for Good Impact Awards will provide free software and grants ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 to global charitable organizations.

Applicants should demonstrate how Zendesk’s solutions will enable them to serve more people and have a greater impact on vulnerable or disadvantaged groups.

Create career routes in technology to address the economic opportunity gap and reduce unemployment.

Eligibility of Zendesk Tech for Good Impact Award

You must include documentation of nonprofit status with your application in the “attachment” section of the form.
Current Zendesk clients are ineligible for the impact awards.
Current and previous Zendesk recipients are ineligible for the impact awards.
Only applications received via the application form will be evaluated. Zendesk does not accept emailed applications.
Zendesk is now only accepting applications written in English.
We are now unable to provide grants to groups based in Belarus, the Central African Republic, the Crimea Region of Ukraine, Congo, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Syria, Ukraine, Russia, Venezuela, Yemen, and Zimbabwe.
The Zendesk Impact Awards are open to verifiable charity organizations, including U.S. organizations registered as 501 (c)(3) public charities and overseas organizations operating for charitable purposes, whose actions advance the Foundation’s primary emphasis areas of:
Fostering Community
Increasing resilience at times of crisis.
Creating career pathways in technology
