Greetings, global communicators and public diplomacy practitioners! The Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program – Strategic Communications is here to support your efforts to shape the narrative on critical global issues.
Whether you’re a civil society organization fighting misinformation, a think tank promoting evidence-based decision-making, or a media outlet amplifying underrepresented voices, this initiative could be your chance to make a real impact on the global discourse.
The Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program – Strategic Communications is investing in the power of media, communication, and strategic messaging to create a more informed, engaged, and resilient world.
Overview of the Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program
The United States Embassy in Kyiv announced the 2024 Public Diplomacy Small Grants in Strategic Communications to support projects aimed at highlighting the importance of strategic communications and providing tools to improve the latter’s outcome during times of crisis, thereby assisting Ukraine in winning the war and the peace. Collaboration between US and Ukrainian groups is welcomed.
If funds are available, the US Embassy will award grants to Ukrainian and US non-governmental non-profit organizations (NGOs) and/or US colleges to carry out the initiatives.
Cooperation between the United States and Ukraine is strongly encouraged; it must be adequately justified and will be regarded as an advantage for the project during the competition.
