Concerning the Future of STEM Scholars Initiative

The Future of STEM Scholars Initiative (FOSSI) was founded in November 2020 by the American Chemistry Council (ACC), the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), Chemours, and the HBCU Week Foundation.

All of whom recognized and wanted to address the STEM workforce’s lack of diversity. This national industry-wide program aims to expand the number of underrepresented professionals in the STEM sector by offering scholarships to students pursuing desired STEM degrees at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
