Overview of Women In STEM Excel Scholarship
Dr. Alexander Sobel established the WISE (Women in STEM Excel) Scholarship to assist, empower, and inspire women in Washington to seek further education in science, technology, engineering, and/or mathematics professions.
To apply, students must complete an application form, write an essay, and provide a letter of recommendation. As part of the scholarship disbursement process, the selected student will be expected to provide the information needed to issue a 1099 tax form, including their social security number.
