The “Fulbright Public Policy Fellowship” allows U.S. early and mid-career professionals and practitioners to serve in placements in foreign government ministries or institutions around the world.
The Fulbright Public Policy Fellowship also includes an independent research component on a topic relevant to the Fellow’s in-country activities. Fulbright Public Policy Fellowships are offered in three regions: Africa (Botswana, Ghana, and Rwanda); the Western Hemisphere (Peru and Colombia); and East Asia and the Pacific (Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Timor-Leste, and Fiji).
Fulbright Public Policy Fellowship Scholarship Overview
Applicants are eligible if they have a Master’s degree and three to five years of relevant public policy experience as a professional or practitioner outside of the classroom.

The Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES) was established as a non-profit organization in 1947 to administer the Fulbright Scholar Program on behalf of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. The Fulbright Program is the US government’s flagship program for international educational and cultural exchange.
