Inspiration Awards Grant Program Overview
Chick-fil-A is happy to introduce the True Inspiration Awards Grant Program.
The True Inspiration Awards funding varies from $30,000 to $350,000, with a total of $5 million distributed annually to groups in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
Chick-fil-A’s True Inspiration Awards grant program supports local NGOs that are driving positive change and having a concrete impact in the communities they serve. It is a pleasure to support the growth and legacy of these amazing organizations across the United States and Canada.
The Winners Category
- In 2024, they plan to continue to support organizations with a total of $5 million in awards ranging from $30,000 to $350,000.
- Sixteen groups will receive awards for their efforts in these areas.
- Caring for People (four winners): Educational programs or projects that promote character and leadership development, academic excellence, and community involvement among underserved youngsters.
- Caring Through Food (four winners): Programs or projects that address hunger and food insecurity among children and their families.
- Caring for Communities (four winners): Programs or projects that offer housing and other direct services to young people and their families.
- Taking care of our Planet (four winners): Programs or projects that illustrate environmental stewardship through initiatives directly related to the other True Inspiration Award categories of food, community, and people (e.g., community beautification, education opportunities, community gardens, outdoor classrooms, etc.).
Eligibility Criteria for the Inspiration Awards
To be eligible for True Inspiration Awards funding, an organization must:
- Be either (i) a 501(c)(3) based in the United States or (ii) a Canadian charitable organization that can offer a legal opinion confirming that it is the equivalent of a 501(c)(3) public charity in its home jurisdiction.
